Gradient Weather doesn't have accounts, and most of your data never leaves your phone. Here's how to delete it, and what we keep.
Your settings, saved places, Family & Friends, frog cards, mini-game best scores and the anonymous ID used for emoji reports are stored only on your phone.
To delete them:
Two alerts need our server to watch the weather for you, so it keeps a registration for your phone while they're switched on:
To delete them, switch the alert off in the app. If the app can't reach our server at that moment, or you uninstall the app first, the registration is deleted automatically after 90 days.
If you play one of the hidden mini-games while online, our server keeps your best score and the nickname shown on the leaderboard, linked to a random ID your phone made up.
Your nickname, like "Moonlit Raven", is made up automatically by our server from that random ID. It isn't linked to your name, email or Google account, so we don't know which nickname is yours. To find your scores, we need you to tell us.
We don't keep what you ask an assistant about the weather. The assistant keeps its own history. To delete it, use the assistant's settings (for Gemini, Gemini Apps Activity). To stop an assistant using Gradient Weather, disconnect the app in the assistant's settings.
